How to build a clear business quote
Start with your work
Pick a template for consulting, cleaning, repairs, catering, photography, retail, or a blank business. Templates supply descriptions and units with zero prices; enter your own rates.
Describe the scope
Enter your business name, quote title and reference. Add up to 50 line items for products, labour, materials or projects. Choose quantity and unit price with at most two decimals. Label your units clearly.
Make extras optional
Flag extras as optional. An unselected optional item contributes zero; a required item always contributes its amount. Customers can change quantities and optional choices in the shared calculator.
Review the calculation order
Each quantity × unit price is rounded half-up to the currency minor unit. The percentage discount applies to the subtotal, then configured tax applies to the discounted amount. The deposit is a percentage of the final total; the balance is the difference. Only currencies with two decimal places are supported.
Save, print and share deliberately
Save explicitly to this browser, or export a JSON backup. Print the estimate to a PDF from your browser. A share link contains public business details, prices, reference and notes; do not include private customer information. Large documents need JSON export instead of a link.
Set expectations
The tool estimates a price. It does not collect deposits, record signatures, issue invoices, book jobs or send emails. Taxes and deposit terms are business settings, not jurisdiction-aware recommendations. Original room-based cleaning links still use their original pricing rules.
